Context
Proximify delivers web services on our own advanced platform. This means that we adapt to the needs of our clients effortlessly. In the past few months, we have been working on developing a web agency that can help small businesses grow by giving them a professionally designed website and a web app that answers their needs.
The two examples i’m choosing to display here are for a law firm and hair salon. They demonstrate a range of design. For the law firm, the website only exists to act as a trust signal for their clients, so the goal was to make something that looks like it has heritage and is trustworthy. See the screenshots below:

The hair salon also wanted to go for an elevated look, but their main goal was to get more people in their chairs. Therefore, the whole website was structured so the main path gets people towards the booking page.

What I did
Both of these projects followed a similar path:
- Met with the owner of the business (the client) to understand exactly what was needed from the website
- Designed some prototypes to understand the visual direction
- Upon approval, built out the rest of the site and corresponding visual identity (as needed; i.e., logos, social posts, print creative, etc.)
- Worked with the owner to refine the narrative of the site and add unique flourishes.
Outcome and what I learned
The outcome remains to be fully seen on these projects. Both are still in development, though nearing the final stretch. Even without the end of the project, these projects have been an exceptional opportunity to use and improve my digital design, project management, and business relationship building skills.
